2016 has seen some awesome new products and collections released in the beauty world. My own collection has expanded (quite wildly). Here are my favourites products, brands and collections from 2016.
Here are my can not live without products from 2016:
It’s my first Lush Christmas as a full blown addict and I’ve already hauled and then hauled again with a wishlist a mile long of all the things I need. Before I was able to get myself in a store the lovely in-laws surprised me with a bath bomb from Lush and it was one of the Christmas ones at the top of my list, Golden Wonder.
I have been fighting thin, prone to oily hair since forever T_T I can’t touch or brush my hair after I have set it in the morning and I can’t even look at hair treatments. I kind of just gave in to the oily, limp look, but once again I have been rescued my the Lush fairies with Roots Hair Treatment.
2016 seems to be the saga of the makeup removal for me. I have tried a great number of really good ways to remove your makeup this year, from cloths that just need water, cream cleansers, different Micellar waters and wipes. Each has there only awesome way of removing my makeup, but some have fallen down in other areas despite being amazing. None have truly swayed me to repurchase either because they still needed a lot of product or rubbing to get it to work or stripped my skin too much or couldn’t be used more than three or four times a week. On I went to find something bigger and better to help me remove my makeup.
Then along came Lush…
Face masks have been creeping their way back into my skincare routine lately and a big player has been Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask. My skin woes are the usual sensitive, but sometimes oily and sometimes dry and if I use the wrong mask at the wrong time all Hell breaks use. Rosy Cheeks is my first Lush face mask and promises to give you soft, matte and calm skin, just what I need in my life. Read more
If I could only ever buy one thing from Lush it would be their Bath Bombs! Close second would be their Jumping Juniper Shampoor Bar. Lush Bath Bombs are such a great pick me up, if you just have $10.00 or so in your pocket to endulge yourself with, they are a great way to make yourself feel pampered. I may or may not have bought pretty much all of the ones in stock at the moment and have been slowly reviewing them all for you. Here are the first four for you! Read more
Shampoo and conditioner has always been something I have faught to find the right one for me. I have thin, limp, prone to oiley hair. Now that I have stopped dying my hair I thought it was time to find something that helped deal with my hair woes. Having dyed hair, especially funky colours always made it hard, because I also didn’t want something that stripped the colour our which clarifying shampoos can do. Read more
The amount of Lush in my house is ridicolous at the moment. Mr G and I (well mainly me) fully jumped on the Lush bandwagon. I have fully changed all my skin and hair care over to Lush, I have bath bombs and soap coming out my ears with extra to spare XD So Tuesday is going to become Lush Tuesdays so I can slowly review all the new products in my life and share them with you. After a recent bout of bad health and then attacked my the horrible sensitive skin allergies I have been spoiling myself with some good skincare products. I stepped into Lush for the first time in a long while on the look for a bath bomb…and then I came out with a heavy bag full of many things…not just for myself, Mr got himself some lovely things too. We might have been back several time though! XD
ANYWAY, on my first adventure into Lush I picked up the Honey Gift box. Honey is an ultimate fave of mine and I thought a gift box was a great way to get a bath bomb and try out a few products while I was at it.
Good Morning Lovelies,
