Makeup Revolution is a great, inexpensive brand with many different products. I have been wanting to buy a million and one more things from them for a good while now and a sister brand of their’s Freedom Cosmetics has been tempting me as well. When they annoucned that all of their brands including their skincare and hair dyes ones were going to be available through one website I was so excited. TAM Beauty is the new website to purchase from and gets all of those brands in one place!
Today’s post is going to be my 100th post! Wooo!! I am very pleased that I managed to keep blogging till I hit such an awesome milestone. Thanks to everyone who has liked, followed and had a look at my blog! :3
Anyway! On to the post. So earlier I posted about Art Deco’s Jungle Fever eye-shadow 32. Well since then I have brought five more XD I really like the Art Couture shadows, they are super pigmented and have amazing colour pay off. There are two more colours in the Jungle Fever collection, but they are blue and a blue based purple. I don’t think I will get them due to my skin/eye colour, they will just make me look like I have a black eye Though I am fighting the urge to have the full set 😮 Does anyone else do this??
Top row: 49.Gold Green, 32.Green Jungle, 61. Jungle River
Bottom row: 27.Sugar Pearl, 20.Golden Earth, 12.Earthy Brown
Can you see why I got 49 and 32 mixed up?
*whinge* why are these so haaaaard to take photos of??
Don’t the nudey/brown tones look so nice? I love these shades, the majority of my shadows are in these colours. I just can’t not get them :3
I’m not sure if you can see it in the two photos or not, but the shadows seem to have a slight colour change :3.
The green tones are just beautiful. 49. remind me a lot of MAC zestful from 2013’s in Extra Dimension collection. I will compare them together. I have worn 49. the most so far, it is so very subtle and pretty.
Here have another look at my original swatches from my first post (27. is missing):
49. is soooo pretty :3.To be honest, they all are. I have worn them on their own as well as blended together and with out polishes. They are great base shadows too.
Look at 49!Isn’t it neat??!! (sorry for the super dark photo, the swatch is accurate but the rest of the pic isn’t, I’m currently fighting Auckland’s weather -_-).
Gah! I just want all of them so I can have the set 😦 See look how lonely my palette looks, the tiny ones with the big pretty art coutures just don’t look as good as the full set would T_T
So besides the colours? Well they are reasonably priced at $14 NZD for the Art Couture, which are one and half of the standard sized shadows, see above for size difference. The standard shadows are $9 NZD each. For what you pay you get a really good quality product that lasts all day without any help from primer and goes on like a dream. I notices how soft they felt too.
If you have been thinking about getting some of the Art Deco Jungle Fever Collection I would highly recommend some of the eye shadows. They are well worth it!
Thanks for stopping by!
Boy has it been a long week, sorry you haven’t heard from me much. However I do have some awesome pretties lined up to share with you over the next few days. So now that I have finished my study be ready for all the make-up, MaSucree goodness 😉
Do you ever have those moments when you find a new online store where you’re like “WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN HERE BEFORE?!”. Totally had one of those last week with the Sleek Make-Up store. I’ve seen their eye-shadow palettes quite a few times and always just thought that I could never get them sent here or that if I could it would cost an arm and a leg. BUT I WAS WRONG! $3.95 USD for a eyeshadow palette, two lipsticks and a blush to be sent to NZ. Now that’s more like it.
So in this post I’ll show you the palette I got, the i-Divine eyeshadow palette in Au Naturel.
