Earlier this year Revlon launched a new collection of five mascaras and quickly impressed the beauty world. For some reason mascara is often something I neglect, I wear it every day without fail, but I will wear the same one all the time and not try many others. MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash has been my holy grail and I haven’t tried enough to knock it from it’s place as number one. With the rave reviews and slightly smaller price tag I thought I would give the Ultimate All In One Mascara a go.I kinda dig the tube design, I haven’t seen any others like it. The black bit is matte though and already has foundation finger prints on it -_- The red top also makes it easy to find in my drawers ^_^ The brush was quite a strange shape and the hollow bit in the middle was unusual, but it worked surprising well. I did have to keep wiping excess of the end though and I found the hollow bit in the middle held enough product that I didn’t have to constantly to replenish the wand in the tube.It did a great job of coating all of my lashes without clumping them together, but keeping them looking natural, but lush and long. I just noticed though when taking photos of my eye that for some reason I have super stunted lashes in one spot compared to the others. Don’t know when that happened, type to poke some more RevitaLash on them.
I would buy this again, it performed really well and lasted all day with no fall out of flaking. It was the perfect all round mascara with no one aspect letting it down. I would be keen to try some of the other kinds from the same collection, the Volume and Length Magnified looks right up my alley. It didn’t knock the MAC Extended Play Gigablack off the podium of number one, but it is up there in my top fives.
Have you tried any of the new Revlon Mascaras?
