Oasis Beauty Fruit Smoothie Exfoliating Mask

Oasis Beauty Fruit Smoothie Exfoliating Mask

Once upon a time when my work schedule was easier I used to have a day at home to myself where I watched TV and looked after my skin. Now I feel like its a good day when I remember to put eye cream on, being a beauty blogger helps, but when I haven’t got any skincare to review I usually fail quite badly. So this year I made the plan to look after my skin better. Again being a beauty blogger who gets sent lovely PR samples it does help. One of the awesome things I have been sent recently is a exfoliating face mask from Oasis Beauty called Fruit Smoothie. I really adore Oasis Beauty products, so I was quite pleased to give this a go.

Face scrubs usually make me a little nervous, that whole sensitive skin thing again and some face scrubs can be very harsh. Since I had such good luck with Oasis Beauty and I dived in to see how it went.

Ingredients:
pure NZ water (aqua), simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) wax esters (physical exfoliant), white kaolin clay, sorbitan monostearate (plant based emulsifier), polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate (plant based emulsifier), organic honey (NZ honeydew), prunus armeniaca (apricot kernel) oil, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, vegetable glycerin, Australian pink clay, aloe vera, cetostearyl alcohol (plant based emulsifier), carica (papaya) extract (enzymatic exfoliant), stearic acid (emulsifier), dehydroacetic acid (and) benzyl alcohol (BioGro approved preservative), citrus grandis (pink grapefruit) essential oil, xanthan gum (food-grade thickener), azadirachta indica (neem) oil

Directions:
There are actually several ways you can use this:

  1. You can layer it on, leave it for a couple of minutes just like a mask and then massage it in, just like a face scrub.
  2. You can swap it up by scrubbing your face first and then leaving it on for a couple of minutes
  3. And then you can just use it as a face scrub

I think its awesome to be able to use it so many different ways and you can change it up whenever you like it. It does make it so much easier to make time to use it.

What’s the Sitch?:

Oasis Beauty is seriously worming their way into my heart and this face mask is no different. I used this once a week and once a week I was overjoyed with how good my skin felt after using it. I alternated between all three ways of using it depending on how much time I had to spare, but scrubbing first and leaving it on as a mask was my favourite way of using Fruit Smoothie. My skin did not feel over washed, dry or irritated after using this and my skincare just melted into my skin and the great feeling last for quite a few days. My skin also looked really refreshed and I looked less tired (maybe not felt XD). I did like how the pinky colour of the mask makes it easy to see patches of skin you may have missed, do beware of using a white face cloth and it will leave a mark, but a quick wash in your washing machine will get rid of it.

Exfoliating is always something I forget, mainly due to being a bad beauty blogger and a little bit of worry of over cleaning my skin, but this product makes it so easy and I love how you can leave it on for that little bit more of me time and extra care. I am very interested in buying this for myself and helping keep my skin in the good condition it has suddenly become used to thanks to Oasis Beauty’s Fruit Smoothie.

How often to do you use a face scrub on your skin? What are some of your favourites?

❤ Miss T
