NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar

NYX Matte Lipstick in Whipped Caviar

Good Afternoon,

How has your weekend been? Mine has been full of blog photos, Criminal Minds and Captain America Civil War.

Today’s lipstick in the spotlight is NYX Whipped Caviar from the matte range. It is wonderful to have NYX in New Zealand properly and I even braved the first day of the stand opening. They have a great range of products and seem to be quick and keeping the stand well stocked. From my first visit I also picked up the liquid highlighter, primer and soft matte lip cream.

NYX Whipped Caviar Tube

The tube isn’t anything amazing, black and robust enough to withstand being thrown in your handbag. The clear bit in the middle is quite cool, if I had more from the same series it would make it a bit easier to see what colour it was.NYX Whipped Caviar Lip

I have turned into more of a nude/natural lip colour girl than I thought. This lipstick is a lovely rose nude that looks absolutely perfect with everything.

This is a great quality lipstick for such a low price -$16.45NZD . I had no issues with bleeding or smearing and it stayed around for a while. Food and drink speed up the fading process, but if you’re busy and don’t have time to top up your lipstick, it fades really well so you don’t look like you have been neglecting your lipstick. It is matte, but non drying and does not stick to any dry bits on your lips making them look more obvious than they are. I am very impressed with how well this stood up to my work day and how quickly it became a staple in my makeup looks.

I would love to try more from this range, especially a red.

Do you have any must have from NYX that I should keep an eye out for?

Thanks for stopping by!

❤ Miss T
