Weleda Almond Sensitive Body Care- Lotion, Hand Cream and Body Wash

Hello lovely people!

How’s it going? Life has been getting in the way of blogging again, much to my annoyance. I moved house and now live three minutes walk from the beach in a house with an amazing sun room, which is perfect for photos.

So my first post back from my hiatus is one I can not believe took me so long to write because I enjoyed using the products so much. Weleda were lovely enough to see me the three new products in their Almond Sensitive Range back in October and I have been using them ever since. The three new products were a body lotion, hand cream and a body wash.

Weleda Alond Range

“Weleda’s NEW Almond Sensitive Body Care range satisfies the needs of sensitive skin holistically. It gently calms and encompasses sensitive skin like a protective shell and balances the mind and soul with the delicate scent of almond essential oil. Reduced to a few, carefully selected ingredients, it calms and gently cares for the skin, and restores the skin’s natural balance.”

I have really sensitive skin, with patches of angry, itchy bits that never go away, so I was really interested to see if the three products would really help my skin.

Almond Sensitive Skin Hand Cream, 50ml
$23.90

I am so bad at using hand cream that it took a bit for me to have enough uses to actually form an opinion on it. I really need to use a hand cream with the amount my hands get knocked around, but I’m just so bad at remembering. I have taken to keeping the tube on my computer at work to remind me ;3

ANYWAY! Part of some of my beef with handcream is how slowly is absorbs into your skin and the weird greasy film you get that hangs around making it hard to do anything. No body has time for that. However, I have discovered just how quickly this one soaks in. I put it on nice and easy and was ready to go in moments, no residue and nice soft hands straight away. I found that after doing cleaning this is really good to relieve the dry feeling you get from having your hands in water all the time. I love this and have been kicking myself that it took me so long to use it, my hands are quite happy with the good treatment they are getting.

I would definitely purchase this for myself.

Almond Sensitive Skin Body Wash, 200ml
$20.90

The body wash was so gentle! I felt like my skin was nice and clean without the over scrubbed feel. Even better was it never upset my sensitive, itchy prone spots and when I did have an inflamed area it never burnt or irritated it. The smell was lovely as well, a very light smell of raw almonds, that was not too over powering and disappeared quickly. I was very sad the day my tube ran out, but it lasted a good few months, even though I was overzealous in the amount I used 😉

I wouldn’t mind spending the money to get this for myself, I would just want to be a bit more conservative with the amount I use XD

Almond Sensitive Skin Body Lotion, 200ml
$36.90

This was really good to use after having a shower with the body wash. It has the same gentle almond smell and a lovely silky feel. It was very calming on any upset skin and left my skin feeling smooth and well hydrated. I like how easy it was to spread across you skin and how fast acting it was to make my skin feel and look good.

The bottle has lasted forever, if I ever ran out of body lotion (does anyone else suffer from this problem? I have 11 bottles of body lotion in various levels of use) I wouldn’t mind indulging to buy this for myself. It is hard to find something that is good for every day use, sooths angry skin and doesn’t have an overpowering smell.

Have you guys tried anything from Weleda? What products do you use to keep your skin happy with you?

Thanks for stopping by.
