Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

How was your weekend? Mine turned out to be busier than I thought, but I still managed to get some blog photos done. I feel like I am finally getting back on top of all the products I have to review. Today’s post is about a super uber popular product, Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water.

I saw Garnier’s Micellar water pop up quite a bit in a few of the Facebook groups I was part of. I was coming to the end of my latest makeup remover and wanted to try something new. At the time I had to purchase it online and get it sent to NZ, a few weeks ago through it became available in stores here in New Zealand. Oh well, I am glad because I really like using it.Loreal Micellar Water

A 400ml bottle costs roughly $12.50 NZD and I have had it for over three months I am not even half way through the bottle. I use it every night and I soak three cotton wipes to get all my makeup off. Once all my makeup is off I have a shower and wash my face.

I find it removes my makeup without rubbing, it does not sting and my skin does not feel dry or thirsty afterwards. I have sensitive skin and it does not bother it at all, even when I am having flare ups it doesn’t burn the affected area. I also feel as though it has helped clear up my skin. I feel like I got better results from this than I did any cleanser, remover or wipes and it makes me more inclined to remove my makeup properly and look after my skin, all pluses.

  • Minor, but you need a few cotton wipes to get it all of

  • Removes all make up
  • Doesn’t irritate skin

I will be buying myself more and stockpile bottles upon bottles XD Though I am open to trying other brands.

How have your experiences with Micellar water been? Any other brands you suggest?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I tried Loreal, Garnier and Bioderma. Bioderma and Garnier are the best from three. Garnier is alike Loreal one but bottle is bigger and price is lower. But Bioderma takes faster my mascara as I like to apply a lot:)

      1. I think it’s very good just more expensive. I choosed over Garnier because of the way it removes my eyemakeup. If you have opportunity try it to see the difference. Sometimes you can catch an offer two bottles for the price of one. We have it in pharmacies but some people order it from some french pharmacy site. I don’t know for sure but heard about. 🙂

  2. I love this stuff! However, I find for stubborn waterproof mascara I need a little more help, so I usually gently massage some baby oil around my eye area first to make removal with micellar water a little easier and less harsh on my lashes. I feel like the oil conditions them a bit too.

    1. oooo I didn’t think about that, I have a little trouble with my Benefit Gel Liner stuff but I just give it a few goes over, but oil might help. Thanks for the tip!
