Despite the crap weather I managed to get myself some okish photos of my new mascara M.A.C.’s Extended Play Gigablack Lask Mascara. I’ve recently been replacing my makeup with M.A.C., I know some of you will groan about the price, but golly it is worth it. This mascara is one of the latest ones from M.A.C., I walked in the other day and said “I want a black, waterproof mascara that just colours my lashes nothing more” BOOM! They did it, the M.A.C. people at my local store never fail to deliver.
M.A.C. has this to say about the Extended Play Gigablack Lask Mascara:
“A lightweight curling, lifting mascara in an intense carbon black pigment. Applies with a petite gripper brush embedded with micro-spheres to give each lash effortless, upward bending definition and extreme volume. Easy wash-off formula. Smudge-free. Lasts 16 hours.”
Its bluuuuuuue!!! Despite having an amazing bluuuuue case I keep it in its box, because well *shrugs* I don’t know. Top brush: M.A.C. Bottom brush: MUA One of the things that really hooked me in on this mascara was the brush size. It drives me nuts how big mascara brushes are, because I always manage to bump or get it on my skin. Not with my new mascara, it is so easy to use.
Left eye with mascara, right eye with none. You can really see the difference. My lashes are pretty long all on their own, but they are just sooo pale and I also manage to get mascara on them too. (make sure you click the photo to see it nice and big).
It doesn’t clump and it doesn’t smudge. It stays on all day keeping my lashes black and long. The consistency is light weight enough that you can layer it to get even darker lashes without clumping. The small brush is really amazing, it really helps to reach all of my lashes without getting mascara on my skin. Just like is promised this is waterproof, you have to use eye makeup remove or warm water to get it off. So in love with this.
If you don’t really like wearing much makeup or you’re just getting into it or you just want a hassle free mascara get this one! I plan on replacing it when it runs out, I of course want to have a play with other M.A.C. mascaras, because hey you can never have enough mascara!
Thanks for stopping by!
